Predestinate soul, how are you to do it? What means will you choose to reach the height to which God calls you? To practice all these means of salvation and sanctification, the grace of God is absolutely necessary. No one can doubt that God gives His grace to all, in a more or less abundant measure. I say in a more or less abundant measure, for God, although infinitely good, does not give equal grace to all, yet to each soul He gives sufficient grace. The faithful soul will, with great grace, perform a great action, and with less grace a lesser action. It is the value and the excellence of the grace bestowed by God and corresponded to by the soul that gives to our actions their value and their excellence. These principles are certain. It all comes to this, then that you should find an easy means for obtaining from God the grace necessary to make you holy; and this means I wish to make known to you. Now, I say that to find this grace of God, we must find Mary.

This is one of my favorite books in hard print but I was looking for something easier to take with me into the chapel. Sadly, this is not the copy you want. While the entire text of the book is present the formatting on this edition is atrocious. It looks like the text was simply copied from a website and converted into Kindle format.While there are no grievous errors the readability is reduced. Further, the notes are not linked--they are inserted immediately within the text making it very hard to get from one portion of the "story" to another.
For the same price you can get another version of this book (Amazon had several choices) or just go with the full "True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary" which is the later and expanded version of this text by the same author.

It's an interesting read it gives a lot of information about Mary and who she was. After reading the book I wanted to pray the Rosary a lot more.
I recommend this book for those who want to become closer to Our Lady, read the book, and use it for daily meditation

I have had a long devotion to St. Louis and always look for his book or anything written about his life.If only we could get others to follow his work then we would be ok in life.
This book for me brings to light the love The Blessed Virgin has for all Mankind. Her obedience to God is loving in a world that is so cynical. Let us hope that Her love will prevail throughout all Mankind..
The beauty of the Blessed Virgin Mary comes across throughout the pages of this book. This is a great book to use for daily meditation or for asking for her intercession to Our Lord.
